Cat’s Tail: A Cat’s Tale

Paw-warmer in action © Sherryl Clark

paw-warmer, nose-tickler

flicker of annoyance

question mark to ask

do you love me

do you hear me

is there anything

to eat?

twitch of attention

swish of anger

droop of sadness

swoop of sneaking

through the long grass

up for dawdling

down for concentration

weather forecaster

(wet when raining)

a tidy curl and tuck

while watching calmly —

furry barometer.
