Australia at least has decisively turned away from this, rejecting MAGA and Trumpists and the far right in favour of looking after the poor, the aged, and making our society fairer. Not only was Labor elected, so were Greens and Independents. People are openly expressing hope again. It's really uplifting to see and hear it.
